Ain't The Blossom Sweet?

Everything's feeling a little bipolar: the weather, my grades, my music tastes, my mood, my blogging motivation. I guess it's one of those transitional moments in the year, when you're getting glimpses of the coming season but you're still a little tentative about changing your wardrobe. Summer is just around the corner, but I'm still wearing tights. Exams are imminent yet there's still classwork to be done. My brain is humming with blog titles and photo ideas, but my free time is consumed in apartment hunting and year abroad preparation. Despite making me feel all grown-up and edgy, my creative muse is feeling a little neglected. When all this exciting, scary, stressful, tangled mess of a term is finished, I promise that blogs will flow freely from my fingertips. I'm also missing my camera, which is hiding somewhere in the deep crevice of my room in Bracknell, but as soon as I find it I'll be recording some of my revision-blues busting techniques for all of you to read and enjoy. I can't believe that this is my fifth year of spider-diagrams, record cards and coloured pens! Anyway, despite the yucky rain (I swear this must be the wettest drought on record!) Bristol's pavements and skies are dotted with white and magenta speckles. Sometimes it looks like snow, other times it looks like confetti. Whatever the colour, I can't help but be joyful when wading through fragrant, dewy blossoms on my way to the library. Nature has always been one of the ways in which I experience God's presence and right now the blossom is a reminder that these grey, wet days will not last forever. Viva l'estate!

My lack of camera means I had to scour the internet for pictures of blossom, so to cut a long story short, I don't own these photographs. However, I would advise anyone googling 'blossom' to be wary, I almost got myself a mail-order bride. Awkward.
